Trust wins business award

Trust Diamond Products, the Durham-based supplier of diamond blades and related items, has won a significant award for successful new businesses. The company, which was founded in April by Directors Steve McKenzie (pictured right) and Steve Ritchie, won in the Sales Award category of East Durham Business Service’s Celebration of Enterprise 2009, which was held in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week UK.

“The judges evaluated our achievements and progress made against our original business plan, and customer testimonials were taken into account,” Steve McKenzie told EHN. “The panel were also impressed by the fact that we have quickly developed a client base virtually nationwide. It is great to receive recognition for what we have achieved so far.”
