Show lifts industry’s spirits

10 February 2010

The Executive Hire Show 2010 proved to be the ideal opportunity for industry professionals to meet, see all that is new on the market, and do business. The final attendance figure of 1,489 over the two days was virtually unchanged from the previous year, a tremendous achievement by the Show organising team, given the challenging economic climate. More importantly, it proves that passionate hirers are looking ahead positively to the coming year.Executive Hire Show 2010

Many hirers who attended, from both large nationals and local independents, have told us how the buzz in the exhibition hall provided a positive boost after a difficult 12 months, and that it reaffirmed their enthusiasm - as did the Executive Hire Party on the Wednesday night, which offered the perfect networking opportunity.

Innovative suppliers exhibiting at the Show have reported how delighted they were by the quality of visitors to their stands, who were looking closely at tools, equipment and plant that they could add to the fleet this year.

With more than half the exhibitors presenting new products - many of which were being seen for the first time in the UK - there was plenty to whet buyers’ appetites.

The March issue of Executive Hire News will give full coverage of the equipment unveiled, the deals done and the enthusiastic views of hirers who attended. Meanwhile, make sure you are prepared for 2010: the positive mood at the Show suggests a busy year ahead, filled with opportunity.
