Thurston supplies Ultra to Elliott Hire

Thurston Building Systems has unveiled the first product from its new Ultra range. The Ultraguard is part of a line-up being introduced after Thurston secured a deal in August to purchase from administrators the assets and intellectual property of Ultra Secure Products Ltd, which made steel cabins and modular buildings.

The 24ft unit has been manufactured for Elliott Hire, and is part of a range of anti-vandal products for construction sites, which can serve as offices, canteens, drying rooms, store and toilets.

Jonathan Petch, Chief Executive of Thurston, pictured (left) with Business Development Manager, Joanne Cottam, said:” The Ultra range opens up new markets for us, particularly in construction and hire. We are now also able to produce a market-ready, blast resistant building, which will enable us to supply petrochemical and manufacturing clients.
