Balloo expands compressor fleet

Balloo Hire Centres, which has four depots in Northern Ireland, has taken delivery of more Compair compressors and ancillary equipment in a deal worth approximately £300,000. The machines range in size from 140cfm 7 bar compressors, up to 900cfm 14 bar models.

MD Paul Lavery said, "Whilst some of the smaller units are fleet replacements, the majority are additions, including all of the 400cfm and 900cfm machines. Historically, compressors have been one of our core products and recently we have seen further demand for both standard single/multi-tool units, and for the more specialised machines that provide greater 'free air' delivery and a higher pressure range.” A 900cfm machine is pictured on site at Lagan Weir in Belfast, in the shadow of the city’s tallest building, the Obel Tower.
